Most fustrating is the design of this station. Passengers transferring from Caltrain to BART in the northbound direction have a seamless platform level transfer, which is the one direction in which this is actually useful, assuming you are aware of the center lower level exit since the end exits are rarely open.
Passengers heading from SF via BART and connecting to Caltrain must climb up somewhere around 30 feet to the mezzanine level, then back down 30 more feet, in the evening commute.
The grand bus bays were rarely used, and converted into drop off zones for kiss and ride, while the opposite side of the station hosted the line SFO samTrans bus (the frequent trunk line ECR doesn't even stop at the station. It's almost a joke of bad planning).
